LIFE IS A PUZZLE

"The prophets who told us this was coming
asked a lot of questions about this gift of life God was preparing.
The Messiah's Spirit let them in on some of it—
that the Messiah would experience suffering, followed by glory.
They clamored to know who and when.
All they were told was that they were serving you,
you who by orders from heaven have now heard for yourselves—
through the Holy Spirit—
the Message of those prophecies fulfilled.
Do you realize how fortunate you are?
Angels would have given anything to be in on this!"
1 Peter 1:10-12

God is the One who knows how
all the pieces of life's puzzle fit together.
From the beginning of creation to present day,
He is revealing each piece in its proper time.

I am thankful to be living in the age after the Cross
when the prophecies of the
Old Testament prophets have been fulfilled.
Those who lived in faith before the coming of Christ
believed the promise.
We who live the faith today have the
fulfillment of that promise in Jesus.

Yet, even we have promises that are yet to be fulfilled
We still look forward with hope to the
promise of an eternal home that Jesus is preparing for us.

We have bits and pieces of the beautiful life God is preparing for us.
Glimpses of beauty here on earth that
provide a glimmer of the beauty we'll behold in Heaven.
Promises in God's Word of an eternity spent in His presence.
Most of all, Jesus' promise that He is with us
even to the end of the world.
How blessed are we.

I can't wait to see the completed puzzle of my life.
I'm thankful the Master is the One working it
and that He knows the complete picture.
Praises be to God alone!
Amen.
