 The God Who Sees Me

"She answered God by name, 

praying to the God who spoke to her, 

"You're the God who sees me!"

Genesis 16:13 

 

Does the fact that God sees you strike fear in your heart?

Or does it bring you peace and comfort 

to know He is watching over you?

 

If you are His child, 

this should be a wonderful reassuring word.

 God does not see us to harm us.

He watches over us to 

protect and provide for us.

He is not sitting up in Heaven 

watching and waiting to catch us doing something wrong.

He is longing for us to reach out to Him 

when we hurt and when we rejoice. 

He longs to have an intimate relationship with each of us.

So when you have troubles and trials,

when you have pleasures and joys,

remember that God sees all.

He cries with His child.

He rejoices with His child.
